Ultrasonic Systems, Inc. (USI) manufactures a high performance line of spray coating systems based on patented ultrasonic coating technology. The Prism Fuel Cell Coating System is a line of programmable coatings systems designed for precision application of a wide variety of low viscosity liquids, conductive inks and other proprietary materials. The Prism spray coating systems feature USI's patented nozzle-free ultrasonic technology, which is industry proven and delivers a more precise coating application than conventional spray nozzles. Ultra-Spray coating heads employ ultrasonic energy to produce the spray and a low pressure directed air stream to shape and focus the pattern.

The Ultra-Spray Catenoid (CAT) ILDS head delivers a thin uniform coating to the substrate at a better than 99% transfer efficiency. The Ultra-Spray head:
- Applies Thin, Defect-Free Coating
- Coating thickness down to sub micron level
- Pattern width from 2 to 20 mm
- Excellent uniformity
Recircuilating and Agitation System
USI offers optional agitation and recirculation systems to keep materials in suspension. This includes a pump for coating circulation, a 3-way solenoid valve and an agitation system for the coating reservoir. |

Summary
The Prism Spray Coating System is the most advanced coating machine on the market today. The Ultrasonic Technology applies the most precise application of coating with virtually no overspray. Coatings will be applied evenly and dry to a thin uniform coat. The software controls a metering valve to regulate the flow of coating to the head. Optional agitation and recirculation systems are available to keep the materials in suspension.
