USI Adds Engineering Veteran to Supplement Technical and Manufacturing Expertise

Haverhill, MA – Ultrasonic Systems, Inc. announces the addition of Michael P. Kiley as Engineer.

Ultrasonic Systems, Inc. (USI), the leading manufacturer of high-performance ultrasonic spray coating equipment, announces the addition of Michael P. Kiley as Engineer. Mr. Kiley brings more than 30 years of experience specializing in the design of products and engineering systems to support manufacturing.

Mr. Kiley returns to USI after working as a Prototype Machinist at MacDiarmid Machine in Newburyport, MA. Previously, Mr. Kiley served the positions of Client Service Manager and Design Engineer at Ultrasonic Systems from 1994-2002. In addition, Mr. Kiley held various positions within product management, mechanical engineering, and engineering management at Stocker & Yale Inc., a maker of graphic recorders and printers. Mr. Kiley holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA.

USI Expands Testing Lab for Precision Coating Systems

Haverhill, MA – Ultrasonic Systems, Inc. announces the expansion of its on-site testing lab.

Ultrasonic Systems, Inc. (USI), the leading manufacturer of high-performance ultrasonic spray coating equipment, announces the expansion of its on-site testing lab. The applications lab now supports testing of the full suite of USI’s precision coating equipment. USI’s products are customized for the unique requirements of a variety of market applications, including:

The PV-360 for crystalline silicon solar applications;
The PV-480 for thin-film (CdTe and CIGS) solar applications;
The Prism for fuel cell, semiconductor, and electronics assembly applications.

USI’s state of the art applications lab, staffed by a team of process engineers, allows customers and prospective customers to evaluate the performance of USI’s coating technology and equipment for their individual application. Customers may visit the lab in Haverhill, Massachusetts to conduct on-site trials, or they can send coating materials and sample substrates to USI for a coating trial.
